Ingredients

  • 500 gms gooseberries


  • 4-5 tbsp Salt( according to taste


  • 200 gms South Indian pickle powder


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp mustard


  • 1 tsp hing


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Directions

  • Steam cook the gooseberries
  • Cool and remove seeds and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and put rai, hing, turmeric and saute till mustard crackles
  • Then add gooseberries, pickle powder, salt and mix well
  • Cool and store in an airtight container
